Become a Precinct Committeeman

Part of PRO-PAC’s mission is to expand the base of the Republican Party in Arizona and encourage thoughtful, Reaganesque conservatives to get involved at the grassroots level throughout the state. Because citizens and voters are most strongly influenced politically by the people with whom they share the most confidence – family, friends and neighbors – those who stand with us for limited government, national security, life and family can start affecting public policy at a grassroots level by signing up to become a precinct committeeman.

By becoming precinct committeemen in neighborhoods across our state, Republicans have a chance to become part of a Reaganesque army – a team of thousands of grassroots volunteers – who will make a significant difference at a local level by informing those they know about the hopeful, optimistic vision that President Reagan saw for our future and by working to ensure the victory of Reagan Republicans throughout our state in 2008 and beyond.

PRO-PAC believes strongly that as more thoughtful, principled voters become involved in promoting Reagan’s inspiring message by engaging and influencing others, the power of our ideas will start a groundswell in local communities everywhere that will bring a tidal wave of support to Republican candidates across our state.

As a Precinct Committeeman you will have two primary responsibilities: 1) help conservative candidates get more votes in your neighborhood, and 2) attend a monthly meeting. A complete list of responsibilities can be found on the Maricopa County Republican website.

There are also many advantages to being a precinct committeeman:

1. Attend many party functions with exciting speakers, from district to county to state meetings.

2. Be a difference maker in the Republican Party structure of Arizona—which includes voting for delegates to select a party chairman and write a party platform.

3. Be “in the know” about party activities and issues more than just the average, loyal Republican voter.

4. Get specific and accurate information regarding party positions to counter misinformation spread by the opposition.

5. Change the world – one neighborhood at a time!
